Welcome to Moonah Arts Centre, Glenorchy's community arts centre.

The Moonah Arts Centre is a focus for arts and cultural activity in Glenorchy City, aiming to provide opportunities for the enjoyment, appreciation and discovery of the arts and culture in our local community.
 

Come and join an activity, see an exhibition, concert, or learn a new skill at one of the many workshops or perhaps even exhibit your own work.  The Moonah Arts Centre has an opportunity for everyone to come and be part of its diverse and exciting program of activities.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Opening Times

The Moonah Arts Centre is open weekdays between 12.30pm and 5.00pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 2pm if desired by the exhibitor.

Exhibition Program

Admission is free and launch invitations are open to all.  Exhibitions open on Saturdays will be advised in newspaper advertising and exhibition publicity.

Concert Series

Concerts are Friday 7.30 - 8.30pm.  Entry is by gold coin donation.  Dates and artists may alter from the advertised program so check the newspaper on the day of the concert for information.

Workshop Program

Bookings and pre-payment are required for all workshops.  If a workshop is cancelled, fees will be refunded.  Please note that all workshop fees include a 10% GST component.

The Holiday Workshop Program is subsidised to encourage access and affordability.  Please book early for this program as places are limited.  All particpants are closely supervised in a safe and supportinve environment.
